Job Description:
Duties--- Serves as first-line supervisor for Division
personnel, senior inspector/investigator, and principal advisor.---
Conducts long-range planning and analysis, compliance and systemic
issues, and, miscellaneous staff actions.--- Applies expert
knowledge of compliance and systemic inspection techniques,
methodology, and analytical abilities to determine the inspection
concept to be used for inspection issues.--- Conducts follow-up
inspections when warranted to ensure corrective action has been
taken on all approved recommendationsRequirements Conditions of
Employment--- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or
fitness determination, as determined by a completed background
investigation.--- Failure to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
for continued employment will serve as grounds for revocation of IG
certification, credentials, and possibly termination from
government service.--- Army Inspector General Certification after
graduation of three week Army Inspector General Course.--- One-year
supervisory probationary period requiredA one-year probationary
period is required if the selectee has not previously met this
