Note: Although our offices are located in Tyson's, most of our clients are in Old Town, Arlington and D.C. You may only come to Tyson's once a week. If you livein the D.C. area there could be future expectations to work with clients on-site and/or come to HQ more occasionally. What you'll do:

• Transactional accounting responsibilities for multiple outsourced accounting client engagements
• Oversight of client and engagement accounts payable and cash receipts function
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting engagement supervisor with production and review of monthly financial statements
• Preparation of audit support schedules
• Communication with client on engagement matters
• Interface with external auditors, external vendors and banking/finance institutions as needed Who you are:

    • A seasoned professional with a blend of two to four years of experience in public accounting, auditing, corporate or non-profit accounting roles
    • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or license in progress preferred
    • Accounting experience or knowledge of the not-for-profit industry preferred
    • Familiarity with multiple commercial accounting software packages including Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics SL, SAGE, etc., as well as expertise within QuickBooks and excellent Excel skills
    • Passion and commitment to providing quality client service and guidance
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Who we are:

Currently, Vault's corporate offices are open, with an optional remote from home policy in effect. However, most our clients are still working remotely. Typically, this position does require being on-site at the clients offices. However, each client does have different policies happening, with many extending their work from home (but not all). - Do we offer full-time remote work? -We are open to consideration to those applicants who are not in the immediate D.C. area. So do not let location get in the way of applying. However, there would be potential expectations to come to our D.C. (Tyson's) Headquarters for occasional meetings and training/events.
