Overview Spathe is currently searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in the Arlington, VA areaSpathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and CoronadoAs a small business with a tight knit family feel, Spathe empowers its employees to solve problems and make decisionsResponsibilities--- Provide support for the customer to ensure operations meet technical standards and deliver on productivity and quality goalsHelping customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage cloud services.--- Perform DevOps engineering tasks in support of an AWS cloud-based network ecosystem involving Linux and Microsoft services.--- Utilize DevSecOps tools and techniques to modernize a global network, infrastructure, and services by applying your unique and management skill set.--- Design and build data services for consumption by clients and other services and leverage Cloud Service Provider (CSP) services to build scalable data infrastructure.--- Identify and implement solutions and recommend and implement infrastructure-as-code design enhancements.--- Work with technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Istio, Jenkins, GitLab CI.--- Support solutions throughout the IT project lifecycle, to include refining requirements, creating design documentation, helping with development, testing, and deployment, and providing O&M and troubleshooting support Qualifications--- Have or willing to obtain DoD 8570 IAT or IAM level II (i.eSEC+) or above within 90 days--- Have or willing to obtain AWS Solutions Architect (Associate) or higher, within 150 days--- 18+ months of experience in software engineering, site reliability engineering, or AWS cloud architecture--- Demonstrated technical leadership experience.--- Have a passion for agile and DevSecOps methodologies and experience with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Ref Design.--- Strong "security first" mindset.--- Experience with Automation Technologies (Terraform, Ansible)--- Experience with IAM (user, roles, policies, etc.)--- Understanding of SSO (OIDC, SAML)--- Experience with CI/CD environments and tools (Docker, Jenkins)--- Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab CI, Perforce, SVN, TFS/VSTS/Azure DevOps)--- Experience with container technology and K8s based PaaS solutions (OpenShift, PKS, etc.)--- Experience with deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters (I.e TKG, Konvoy)--- Experience with design, deployment, and management of cloud resources in numerous environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)--- Experience in AWS networking (peering connection, TGW, etc.) Clearance Required:--- Secret; must meet SAP elgiblity; willing to complete CI Poly Job Type:--- Full Time Work Location:--- One location - Arlington, VA--- Hybrid work schedule with average 3 days/week on site Travel:--- Up to 10% travel during the yearBenefits:--- Health insurance--- Dental insurance--- Retirement plan--- Paid time off--- 11 paid holidays per year Position ID: JF01DVOP
