The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides essential IT services to support NSD's infrastructure, operations, software development, engineering, and help desk functions.Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement information security measures.
• Assess requirements and potential solutions for technical and economic feasibility.
• Design and maintain firewall and IPS rule structures, ensuring standards are met.
• Monitor and maintain the health of firewalls/IPS, recommending improvements as needed.
• Document procedures related to firewall and IPS management.
• Create complex network security schematics.
• Research, evaluate, recommend, test, and implement new network security technologies.
• Stay current with security tools and best practices.
• Provide support to network engineers under general guidance.Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10+ years of IT experience.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco FMC1000, FMC-VMware, Cisco ISE, and IPS products.
  • Experience managing IPsec VPNs, including Site-to-Site VPNs to Azure cloud.Desired:
    • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are preferred.Education Requirements:
      • Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years of related experience.Security Clearance Requirements:
        • Active Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a DOJ SCI.Working Environment:
          • Prolonged sitting and working at a desk on a computer.
