What you'll do We are seeking a dedicated Diesel Truck/Trailer Mechanic to join our Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on our tractor and trailer equipment. This role requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly. - Conduct failure analysis, repairs, and rebuilds fleet equipment components. - Inform management about housekeeping opportunities, harmful working conditions, and unsafe work practices, and suggest corrective actions. - Identify and inform management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment, and take steps to solve the issue if possible. - Complete complex work orders with proper coding (Reason for Repair (RFR), American Trucking Association (ATA)), description of condition, cause, and correction, including properly completing warranty return tags as needed. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance. - Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. - Perform additional duties as assigned. The hourly wage range for this position is $29.90 - $33.40* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
