Job Description Job Description Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Scheduler/Planner- 1st Shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Scheduler/Planner - 1st Shift Location: Harrisonburg, VA Pay Range: $35 Shift: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Coordinate and plan all maintenance work to optimize workforce productivity and work quality. Review and process work orders from various departments, ensuring clarity and accuracy. Develop detailed maintenance schedules, considering manpower, materials, and safety priorities. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Maintain records, analyze work performance, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. What's Needed? Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
