Job Description Join us at Lockheed Martin as an Electrical
Engineer, working for one of the top companies in the world. You
will be part of a fast-paced group within the Lockheed Martin Space
division and will be working with an engineering team supporting
design of high-performance, high-reliability hardware. In this role
you will join our team in Severn, MD and be responsible for the
research, design, and test of electrical components, equipment, and
systems. Projects may include design of communications systems
(Software Defined Radio), Space-flight systems, and other
interesting and challenging projects that support critical customer
missions. Designs may be driven by low SWaP (Size, Weight, and
Power) objectives, environmental concerns, and other issues that
require novel solutions. What You’ll Do • Concept & Requirements –
Develop system requirements, perform trade studies, and propose
architecture solutions for communications payloads (e.g., SDR) and
flight qualified hardware. • Design & Implementation – Capture
schematics, select components, generate Bill of Materials, and
guide PCB layout using eCAD tools (Altium, Xpedition, Zuken, etc.).
• Prototype & Test – Build and test prototype boards, run design
verification tests, and analyze results with lab equipment
(multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies). • Team Collaboration
– Partner with RF, Mechanical, Software Developers, Test
Technicians, and Program Management teams to ensure schedule, cost,
and performance targets are met. • Documentation & Communication –
Produce clear technical reports, design reviews, and presentations
for internal and external stakeholders. Basic Qualifications •
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) from
an accredited institution. • 1 year of professional experience in
electrical hardware design. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
DoD Top?Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Desired
skills • Hands?on experience with eCAD tools – Altium Designer,
Xpedition, Zuken, or similar. • Basic programming/scripting:
Python, MATLAB, and/or C. • Strong laboratory skills – comfortable
with multimeters, oscilloscopes, network & spectrum analyzers,
power supplies, etc. • Understanding of SDR architecture and
low?SWaP design principles. • Excellent written/oral communication,
organization, and interpersonal abilities. • Experience with phases
of product lifecycle (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, and TRR) Lockheed

Ability to work remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with
this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed
Martin facility. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports
a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional
flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40
hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time
away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off
benefits. Security Clearance Information This position requires a
government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for
consideration. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this
position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most
major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland,
Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is
$70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not
limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's
work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market
and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits

and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented
full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid

time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up
to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for
holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated
based on start date during the calendar year. This position is
incentive plan eligible. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for
this position in most major metropolitan areas in California,
Massachusetts, and New York is $80,600 - $139,840. For states not
referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect
the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary
