As Director of Engagement Programs, bring your entrepreneurial
outlook and proven track record to lead the foundation's
cornerstone fundraising programs. Reporting directly to the
Executive Director, you will be responsible for leading program
development, sales, and customer retention to drive engagement and
satisfaction within our constituency and overall program

The Side-Out Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that
was established in 2004 to make a significant and identifiable
impact on the lives of metastatic breast cancer patients and their
families. The organization takes an innovative approach using
precision medicine to provide solutions for those with metastatic
breast cancer, specifically, with the goal of becoming a source of
hope for all those living with breast cancer in search of answers
and treatment options. Through our educational and community-driven
programs Dig Pink - and the Ambassador Program, we engage a new
generation of young people in advocacy and leadership development.
As both a nonprofit and research organization, The Side-Out
Foundation and its supporters work for a future where breast cancer
isn't a terminal diagnosis and anyone receiving a breast cancer
diagnosis has hope for more tomorrows.
HOURS: Full time (40 Hours Per Week)
FLSA Status: Exempt
What You Do:
Lead team in the creation and implementation of sales and customer
retention strategies with the primary goal of creating meaningful
and lasting connections with our supporters.
In partnership with the Leadership Team, and the Board, build
comprehensive strategies that include detailed plans and goals
focused on program growth across Dig Pink -, The Ambassador
Program, and develop/create new fundraising programs as needed.
Develop forecasts and reports related to program participation,
revenue, sales funnel efficiency, etc.
Collect, analyze, and use data about supporter behavior to make
informed decisions about communication, sales, and customer
Participate in weekly, quarterly, and annual leadership team
meetings and present information regarding program participation
and projection, sales, and the like.
Develop and present a department budget to the Director of
Operations for approval to include software needs, travel expenses,
and professional development opportunities, etc.
Regularly review and update department processes to ensure maximum
efficiency and productivity. Responsible for the development,
maintenance, and enhancement of each program including customer
journeys and participant experience.
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in
sales, marketing or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum five (5) years of successful experience in program
development, team development, and staff management.
Knowledge of principles and practices of sales. Ability to
successfully establish working relationships and interact
effectively with a wide range of people internally and
Proven record of accomplishment identifying, cultivating and
soliciting financial support from donors and sponsors.
Exemplary communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching,
problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong understanding of business management, financial, and

project from assignment to completion; Ability to manage multiple
simultaneous requests for information and prioritize those requests
to meet deadlines.
