Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group's client, a premier Government Contractor in the DMV area, is seeking a Procurement Associate Manager. The Procurement Associate Manager is a critical role responsible for purchasing goods and services for business teams, both direct and indirect, as well as managing the cradle-to-grave procurement process, including RFI's, RFQ's, negotiations, PO creation, change orders, and closeouts. Responsibilities:

• Source new requirements for multiple Division business teams
• Monitor and process assigned Costpoint Requisition and monitor and process PO Change Requests
• Assist in resolving PO match exceptions, work with business teams to process match exceptions to keep invoice delays to a minimum, and provide support to Costpoint and PO Change Request users
• Draft and process signature files for various agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, etc.)
• Review and negotiate agreement terms with potential suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelors degree REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 4 years Procurement/Buyer experience in a Federal Government contracting environment, especially a technology or management consulting space
  • In depth, working knowledge of CPSR, preferably having been through a CPSR Audit
  • FAR/DFARS Knowledge
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint experience
