you'll be doing:
- Maintain accountability for exploiting the value of enterprise
information assets: Delivering analytics used to render insights
for decision making, automated decisions, and augmentation of human
performance; be the corporate leader of data-driven insights and
use cases that help support the exploitation of strategic and
tactical business opportunities.
- Define data and analytics (D&A) vision, strategy, and
associated practices to execute: Lead the creation, ensuring
ongoing relevance, of the organization's data and analytics
strategy in collaboration with the CIO, enterprise architect, and
business leadership; institute enterprise operating model required
to execute strategy, ensuring delivery models, methods, and
practices for creation of data products, using an economic
mindset.
- Foster creation of a data-driven culture: Advancing relevant
competencies and data literacy across the enterprise; lead these
transformation efforts by developing D&A talent and maturing
the capability of the organization; help leadership and team
members across the organization to use data and data products more
effectively.
- Establish and maintain trust in data assets: Institute
governance mechanisms for data and algorithms used for analysis,
analytical applications, and automated decision making; establish
data governance to promote data access, quality, and analytical
capability, including training, data stewardship, and data
standards.
- Be a talent ambassador, leading and coaching: Identify and
develop a small team of D&A professionals; manage, coach, and
develop direct reports as well as coach and mentor individuals
across the organization in use of D&A products.What you'll
bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, Statistics, Data Science,
Analytics, Computer Science or related fields; master's
preferred.
- 10+ years progressively responsible relevant experience in data
management, including creating partnerships, implementing data
governance, and understanding the underlying technologies needed to
enable data innovation across a midsized or large organization; 5+
years as a people-focused leader.
- Demonstrated success driving enterprise-wide programs and
creating business value - organizational growth, productivity, risk
reduction, and/or cost reduction.
- Experience developing data strategy, policies, and
procedures.
- Experience creating capabilities that enable data discovery and
ensure data quality.What will enable your success:

- Ability to define strategic initiatives and oversee the

effect change to achieve common goals.
- Creates consistent value-oriented storylines for better
understanding and execution of the D&A Strategy; ability to
effectively drive business, culture and technology change in a
dynamic and complex operating environment, including conveying
information to diverse audiences in a way that is easily understood
and actionable; comfort with public speaking and the ability to
creatively and concisely express ideas to business and technical
audiences; strong active listener; robust diplomatic skills and
ability to help senior business leaders see value, opportunities,
and risks beyond their own area of expertise.
- Capable of partnering across the organization to define and
breakdown opportunities, identify logical solutions, and facilitate
change; ability to anticipate and mitigate issues.
- Creative, critical thinking, and outstanding analytical and
problem-solving abilities; familiarity with business information
generation and analysis methods.
- Adjusts thinking and behavior resiliently and uses experience
to fuel growth.
- Dynamic, curious learner with desire to understand new
perspectives and opportunities, to explore new ways to solve
problems.
- Ability to facilitate sessions to elicit ideas from others,
understand their issues and encourage group participation.
- Knowledge of trends and developments in the fields of data
management and data analytics; aware of innovations and new
approaches within and outside domain.
