• Provides patient care, clerical and environmental control services in a clinical or hospital practice according to established policies and procedures.
• Utilizes information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes.
• Communicates/collaborates with physicians and staff to provide coordinated, safe and compassionate care for patients.
• Participates in continuing education activities that enhance employee's professional abilities and ensure up-to-date patient care.

    Requirements
    
    • Experience: Previous experience in a medical group practice or similar situation preferred.
    • Education: High School or GED and graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
    • Certification: Certified MA, BLS
    • Special Skills: Medical terminology, proficient in English, excellent verbal and written communication skills and competent with basic computer skills
