Surgical Scheduler - Pain Management Fairfax, VA MUST: 2+ years of experience as a surgical scheduler in a busy medical office Must have EMR experience Must have Surgical Scheduling experience Must have experience checking patients in and out Must have experience with insurance verification Must have experience with obtaining prior authorizations regarding surgeries DUTIES: The Surgical Scheduler will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Assisting with the day-to-day operations of office Enhancing patients/customers experience by providing clerical/technical support Greeting patients at front desk reception area, ensuring that the patient has signed in and has all necessary and up to date insurance information Properly handling incoming calls; take complete messages with accurate information using message intake form Scheduling patient appointments by adhering to scheduling guidelines Verifying appointments, print schedules, update patient information as necessary Review schedules for cancellations/No show appointments *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
