Job Description:

*Inova Fairfax Hospital *is hiring for an experienced *Registered Nurse (RN) *for *Inova Children's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). * Our 108-bed, Level IV NICU is the largest in the region, and cares for high-risk infants requiring specialized care and observation. The NICU is also the first in the nation to receive The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval--- for Prematurity. This certification represents the highest level of care for premature birth patients.

_This is a full-time role (3x12 hour shifts per week). Night or Rotating shifts available._

*Job Responsibilities: *
* Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team

*Requirements:*
* *Experience *- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (_1 year of RN NICU experience required_)
* *Certification *- Basic Life Support through AHA
* *Licensure *- Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
* *Education *- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
