Adheres to the ANA Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards. Utilizes and applies organizational policies and procedures. Provides service line support and supervision for staff within the Inpatient Pediatrics Unit, PICU, NICU and the Children's Diagnostic Center. Supports hospital wide education programs in addition to service line initiatives.REQUIREMENTS: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Bachelor's in Nursing required, Master's required or enrollment in a Master's program within 2 years of hire. National Certification required (Nursing Specialty, Nursing Professional Development or ASTD). Previous education/teaching experience preferred. 3-5 years of experience in pediatric acute care setting required.
