Job Description:
Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Richmond, VA Join a
dedicated team at Richmond s largest delivery center with a Level
III NICU. This facility offers a state-of-the-art single-family
room NICU environment, ensuring an innovative and collaborative
atmosphere committed to excellence in neonatal care. We are seeking
a compassionate, Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to
provide 24/7 in-house coverage and deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities: Provide exceptional neonatal intensive care in a
40-bed Level III NICU. Collaborate with a dedicated team of
Neonatologists for continuous 24/7 in-house coverage. Utilize
advanced therapies such as HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, and
therapeutic hypothermia. Work alongside on-site pediatric surgery
and cardiology specialists for comprehensive care. Coordinate with
a nurse-led neonatal transport team for patient transfers and
emergencies. Deliver care in a family-centered single-family room
NICU model. Focus exclusively on NICU patients, with no requirement
to cover the newborn nursery. Participate in quality improvement,
safety initiatives, and clinical research. Contribute to a team
culture that values innovation, education, and compassionate family
support. Qualifications: Board Eligible (within 5 years of
eligibility) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Board Certified in Pediatrics. Virginia medical license or
willingness to obtain. Clean malpractice and license history
(highly preferred). License and Certification Requirements: Medical
license to practice in Virginia (or willingness to obtain). Board
Certified (BC) in Pediatrics. Board Eligible (BE) or Board
Certified (BC) in Neonatology. Richmond, VA is a vibrant city known
