Our network, encompassing inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and a variety of home health and hospice agencies, provides a unique setting for delivering expert respiratory care to diverse patient populations. This role is pivotal in supporting patient recovery by implementing therapeutic treatment plans and utilizing advanced respiratory care equipment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes aligned with our compassionate care standards. Assess and monitor patient respiratory conditions through diagnostic testing and blood gas analysis. Develop and implement respiratory care treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment, including ventilators and CPAP machines. Educate patients and families about respiratory health and ongoing care strategies. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Record, gather, and analyze patient data to guide ongoing treatment and report to health care professionals as necessary. Proficiency in using respiratory care equipment and devices. Strong understanding of respiratory conditions and treatment protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Crisis intervention skills and ability to handle stressful situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist. Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). BLS certified and ACLS preferred.
