specializing in Labor and Delivery. The patient population includes
individuals in childbearing years and pregnant individuals from 17
weeks gestation through labor. Common procedures include scheduled
deliveries and triage issues. Activities on the unit include
admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and
deliveries via vaginal birth and cesarean sections. Equipment used
in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors, Cerner
