Job Title: Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Manager Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute hospital experience required License: Must possess a valid nursing license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Acute hospital experience is mandatory. First-time travelers are accepted. Description: Case Manager position available for an immediate start. The schedule consists of Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30. Experience in care coordination, discharge planning, and concurrent review is essential. Candidates should be knowledgeable in utilizing criteria such as InterQual and Milliman guidelines. Familiarity with CMS guidelines, ICD-10 coding, and DRG is required. Understanding of appeals, denials, and medical necessity is necessary. Experience with patient ratio management and charting systems is a plus. Ability to provide interdisciplinary support in a hospital setting is important. Daily patient census is expected to be between 10-15 patients.
