About the Position LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton
Associates to find a qualified Wound, Burn & Ostomy NP in
Washington! We are actively seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse
Practitioner for a 120-day assignment with our client in WA,
commencing Mar 2, 2026. This role involves providing essential
hospital based wound care, managing a diverse patient population
presenting with diabetic foot ulcers, venous stasis ulcers,
pressure ulcers, and various surgical dehiscence's and open
surgical wounds. The successful candidate will be proficient in
performing procedures such as debridement, incision and drainage,
negative pressure wound therapy, bone biopsies, total contact
casting, and compression wrapping. Additional duties include
managing long-term IV antibiotics for osteomyelitis and identifying
and supervising candidates for hyperbaric oxygen therapy, typically
working 8-hour shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Serve as a
certified wound care and hyperbaric specialist for hospital based
wound care. Manage patient cases primarily involving diabetic foot
ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, pressure ulcers, surgical
dehiscence's, and open surgical wounds. Perform debridement
procedures. Execute incision and drainage (I & D) procedures. Apply
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Conduct bone biopsies.
Apply total contact casting. Perform compression wrapping. Manage
long-term IV antibiotics for the treatment of osteomyelitis.
Identify candidates for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO) and
supervise HBO. Order and interpret ABIs, TCOM, vascular
ultrasounds, and x-rays. Make appropriate referrals to specialties
such as vascular surgery, general surgery, podiatry, and
orthotics/prosthetics specialists. Manage patient volumes of 10-18,
sometimes with additional 1-3 HBO patients, and occasional
inpatient/ER consults. Additional Information Required Board
Certifications: Certified Wound Care Associate (CWCA) EMR: Cerner
