Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Clinton,
Maryland, 20735! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully
pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall
score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. 2 years of
experience is required. First-time travelers accepted. Float
required. Every other weekend required. Description: Looking for a
Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract. BLS and NIHSS
certifications are required. The position requires managing cardiac
telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Candidates will
monitor patients on the unit and remotely. Management of
dysrhythmias and the use of rapid response/code teams is essential.
Experience with IV insulin protocols is necessary. Candidates
should be skilled in patient care, including feeding tube
management, pre/post hemodialysis management, blood product
administration, and central line care. Candidates must have
experience starting and maintaining IVs, and should be familiar
with protocols for heparin and PCA. Knowledge of cerebrovascular
accidents, tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions is
required. Wound care and management are also part of the job
responsibilities. Interdisciplinary support is available, including
IV teams and respiratory services. The daily census averages 28
patients, and the unit accommodates adult and geriatric
populations. Candidates should be comfortable working with a
patient ratio of 6. No requested time off is permitted during the
first two weeks of the assignment. Failure to meet the compliance
requirements may result in cancellation. Candidates should be
prepared for possible changes in scheduling and expectations. Two
supervisor references are required during the application process.
