Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A registered nurse with operating room experience is needed for a contract position in Buckhannon, WV. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced surgical technology and a diverse range of surgical specialties in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room, supporting various surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams in General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, and Cataract services. Utilize Olympus Endoscopy and Stryker laparoscopy equipment proficiently. Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends, with responsibilities extending to PACU coverage. Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR system. Uphold patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols and standards. Qualifications: Current RN licensure with a focus or experience in the Operating Room. Successful completion of a nursing program with graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Ability to work a 5-day schedule from 6:45 AM to 2:45 PM and participate in on-call duties. Flexibility to respond during on-call hours Friday evening through Monday morning. Experience or willingness to work with advanced surgical equipment and multiple surgical specialties.
