evidence-based practices. Job Overview Position Title: Full-Time
Clinician The Full-Time Clinician provides direct clinical
services, clinical leadership, supervision, quality assurance, and
regulatory oversight across all programs and service locations
operated by Hidden Roots Mental Health. This role ensures delivery
of medically necessary, person-centered, evidence-based behavioral
health services while maintaining compliance with all federal,
state, payer, and organizational standards. The clinician functions
as both a provider and clinical leader, supporting staff
development, program growth, risk management, and continuous
quality improvement. Scope of Work I. Clinical Services & Client
Care Conduct initial, ongoing, annual, and discharge clinical
assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, Service Request for
Authorization (SRA), Continued Service Request for Authorization
(CSRA), and reassessments. Develop, review, and approve treatment
plans, safety plans, crisis plans, and clinical summaries. Ensure
all services meet medical necessity criteria and are aligned with
diagnosis, functional impairments, and client goals. Provide direct
clinical services as assigned (individual, family, group therapy,
crisis intervention, skills restoration, or care coordination).
Monitor client progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment
approaches as clinically indicated. Coordinate care with internal
teams, medical providers, MCOs, hospitals, community partners, and
natural support. Participate in discharge planning, step-down
services, and continuity-of-care coordination. Maintain appropriate
clinical boundaries, ethics, and professional standards of
practice. II. Documentation & EHR Management Ensure timely,
accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the
electronic health record (EHR). Review and approve assessments,
progress notes, BIRP notes, referrals, safety plans, and discharge
documentation. Verify documentation supports billing, medical
necessity, authorization requirements, and audits. Coordinate
assessments and service delivery through chart systems. Support
staff with documentation corrections, guidance, and compliance
standards. III. Supervision, Clinical Oversight & Staff Development
Provide clinical supervision and oversight to Qualified Mental
Health Professionals (QMHPs) and assigned staff. Facilitate monthly
clinical training and ongoing education. Conduct chart reviews,
clinical case consultations, and performance feedback. Support
onboarding and clinical orientation of new hires. Promote
professional growth, clinical competency, and ethical practice.
Address clinical performance concerns and collaborate with
leadership on corrective action plans when needed. IV. Quality
Assurance & Compliance Oversee quality assurance processes,
including chart audits, service reviews, outcome monitoring, and
corrective action implementation. Ensure services comply with
regulatory requirements, payer guidelines, organizational policies,
and clinical best practices. Participate in internal audits,
external audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation activities.
Monitor clinical indicators and outcomes to support continuous
quality improvement. V. Risk Management & Safety Serve as Risk
Manager for clinical services. Collect, evaluate, and analyze
incident reports, safety events, and clinical risk data. Complete
quarterly reporting and contribute to organizational risk
management plans. Ensure safety planning protocols are followed for
high-risk clients. Participate in incident reviews, root cause
analyses, and implementation of preventative strategies. VI.
Program Development & Agency Growth Support agency growth by
providing clinical leadership across all programs and service
lines. Lead program expansions, modifications, or new service
implementation as needed. Develop clinical workflows, service
protocols, and program standards. Facilitate clinical training for
partnering organizations and community stakeholders. Collaborate
with executive leadership on strategic planning, staffing needs,
and clinical infrastructure. VII. Policy Development & Regulatory
Compliance Develop, implement, and update program policies and
procedures in alignment with state and federal regulations. Ensure
clinical policies support medical necessity, ethical practice,
documentation standards, and service delivery requirements.
Maintain knowledge of evolving regulatory requirements and
integrate changes into organizational operations. VIII.
Collaboration & Organizational Leadership Participate in
interdisciplinary meetings across all operating states. Address
clinical concerns and collaborate with team members to resolve
barriers to care. Support organizational culture, professionalism,
and client-centered service delivery. Act as a clinical resource
for leadership, administrative staff, and field teams. IX.
Operational Support Ensure clinical staff have required equipment,
tools, and supplies to deliver services effectively. Support
scheduling and coordination of clinical services. Assist with
workforce planning and coverage needs. Promote efficiency,
accountability, and quality across clinical operations. X.
Professional Standards Maintain active licensure and required
certifications. Adhere to ethical codes, confidentiality standards,
and organizational expectations. Complete required continuing
education. Represent Hidden Roots Mental Health professionally
within the community and partner networks. What we are looking for
Strong understanding of community-based mental health services and
casework documentation. Knowledgeable in mental illness,
therapeutic interventions, and available community resources.
Ability to apply clinical supervision to improve service delivery.
Certification in CPR & First Aid, along with behavioral management
training. Must have a Master's degree in a human services-related
field (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling) and eligibility
for LMHP licensure. 1-2 years of clinical experience providing
mental health services to individuals with psychiatric and
substance use disorders. Minimum of one year of supervisory and
managerial experience. Ability to pass a criminal background check
and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean DMV record. MCR
Certification and MAP Training required within 90 days of hire.

position. Willing to work in a hybrid/onsite setup. Full-time with
PTO/Vacation Leave Health Insurance after probationary period Note:
3 hour cap per assessment, 3-4 hour max per supervisee per month
