Job Description:

Encompass Health Mechanicsburg is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive nutrition services to improve the health of our patients. This role involves assessing nutritional needs, developing personalized nutrition plans, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and effective care. Our Dietitian will be integral in enhancing patient outcomes through expert nutrition evaluation, intervention, and education tailored to the needs of each patient recovering from life-changing illnesses and injuries. Evaluate nutritional needs of patients based on their medical conditions and functional limitations. Develop and implement nutrition care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust dietary plans as required. Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and their families. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care. Stay updated with the latest nutrition research and integrate new findings into practice. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to dietary services. Strong knowledge of disease-specific nutrition needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Skill in using nutrition management software. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Licensed Dietitian status as per state requirements.
