Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team, providing unparalleled patient care in both facility-based and home-based settings across 42 states. As part of our expert team, the Physical Therapist will focus on offering comprehensive, patient-oriented therapies following medically approved protocols. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, and implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at maximizing patient mobility and enhancing quality of life. Develop and administer effective treatment plans based on physician's orders and standard care protocols. Assess patient conditions through observations, medical history, and tests to determine the appropriate physical therapy. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient mobility and function, including therapy exercises and maneuvers. Document patient care and progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal recoveries. Educate patients and family members on treatment techniques, exercises, and injury prevention. Collaborate with healthcare professionals such as doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate patient care. Strong understanding of physical therapy principles and therapies. Ability to operate medical equipment, such as ultrasound and electrotherapy. Excellent observational and communication skills. Empathy and patience to help patients through their recovery processes.
