Registered Nurse (RN) | Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op Location: Clinton, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,378 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/6/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: ICU experience required Pediatric PACU experience required 2 years of PACU experience required Description: Registered Nurse for the PACU unit is needed. ICU experience is mandatory. Pediatric PACU experience is necessary. ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required. First-time travelers will be accepted. Call coverage may be necessary. Floating to the ICU is required. Availability to work weekends is expected. Patient ratios are 2:1. The unit cares for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census in the unit is approximately 45 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and respiratory services. Special procedures performed in the unit include endoscopy and orthopedic cases. The Registered Nurse will assess and manage post-anesthesia patients. The role involves the management of various medical protocols including insulin and pain management. Documentation in the charting system is required. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in PACU settings. Traveler candidates must provide two supervisor references. An understanding of isolation precautions and safety protocols is essential. Compliance with facility-specific requirements upon hire is mandatory.
