This opportunity begins on May 4, 2026, and features weekday, 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. The role involves providing care to patients in a clinic setting, supporting a range of complex chronic and low acuity cases, and occasionally covering multiple clinics with advance notice. Job Details Location: Washington Start Date: May 4, 2026 LOA: 60 days Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Responsibilities and Duties Conduct 20-minute clinic appointments for a mix of complex chronic and low acuity patient cases Deliver comprehensive family practice care, adhering to clinical protocols Collaborate with medical assistants, registered nurses, and administrative staff Support multiple clinics with at least two weeks’ advance notice, as needed Utilize Athenahealth EMR for documentation and patient management Communicate effectively with patients, including those for whom Spanish translation is required Maintain accurate and timely patient records Ensure compliance with Basic Life Support (BLS) requirements Additional Information Minimum 3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience required Prior FQHC experience preferred Bilingual in Spanish preferred; translation support available Athenahealth EMR experience preferred, or ability to learn a new EMR required Proficiency with Google Suite or demonstrated computer literacy required Washington license and Family Medicine board certification required Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
