Job Description Jackson HealthPros is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Midlothian, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Midlothian, VA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. /n /n Minimum Requirements: /n - Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. - Active Virginia Respiratory Care license required. - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable; candidates who are within six months of graduation must attain RRT within 90 days of hire (client requirement). - Minimum one year clinical experience in a NICU setting caring for neonates on ventilators (client-specific requirement). - Experience with Bubble CPAP in the NICU (client-specific requirement). - Experience across adult, pediatric, and level 2 NICU populations and attendance at high-risk deliveries preferred; one year NICU experience required as noted above. - Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. - Ability to perform invasive and non-invasive respiratory care, ventilator management, arterial punctures, and emergency airway procedures. - Must not live within a 50 mile radius of the facility; local candidates within that radius will not be accepted (client requirement). - No EKG exam required for this role. - Will accept either CRT or RRT credential as noted above. /n Apply now and one of our recruiters will reach out with the details to determine fit. Thank you for your time and responsiveness. /n /n Assignment Details /n - Facility type: Hospital. - Position: Respiratory Care Professional 2 - Respiratory Therapy. - Duration: 13 week travel assignment. - Shift: Days. 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. - No call required. - Will attend high-risk deliveries and provide respiratory care for adults, pediatrics, and level 2 NICU patients. - Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the system when needed. /n /n Location Highlights /n /n Discover Midlothian, VA and nearby attractions for recreation and lifestyle.
