Job Description:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens assignment providing both clinic and hospital-based gastroenterology services. The physician will perform colonoscopies and EGDs and manage inpatient consultations.

This position follows a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation, providing a balanced schedule while maintaining continuity of care.

Schedule Details:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
• 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Day shift
• On-call responsibilities required

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

• Performing colonoscopy and endoscopic procedures
• Evaluating and managing inpatient GI consults
• Providing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team
• Documenting all encounters and procedures in Epic

The physician will work within a supportive gastroenterology department that includes physicians, APPs, and clinical and non-clinical staff. The average patient volume is patients per day.
