Purpose:The Assistant General Manager oversees the daily operations of a fine dining restaurant, ensuring memorable guest experiences, maintaining the standards of food quality, service, and ambiance. Position Responsibilities: Guest Experience & ServiceEnsure that every guest receives attentive, personalized, and professional service that is consistent with restaurant standards.Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and gracefully to ensure satisfaction.Maintain an atmosphere of elegance, comfort, and hospitality throughout the dining experience.People & LeadershipRecruit, train, and mentor front-of-house staff, including bartenders, servers, hosts, and support team members. Manage people processes such as one-on-ones and progressive discipline. Foster a culture of professionalism and teamwork.OperationsOversee daily dining room operations, including reservations, seating flow, and service timing.Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen, bar, and front-of-house teams to ensure efficiency and consistency.Monitor cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance of the restaurant in accordance with brand standards.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Qualifications - Minimum 35 years of management experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a passion for hospitality.In-depth knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.Proficient organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Provides evidence of strong leadership. Demonstrates ability to obtain results for FOH operations consistently.Adaptable, able to change priorities and manage workloads with minimal direction. Demonstrates ability to be proactive versus reactive.Expert-level follow-through skills.Dependable, reliable, and highly motivated. $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annually
