Ryder, a leader in logistics and transportation solutions, is currently looking to hire a professional Truck Driver with a Class A CDL for regional routes. This no-touch freight position is ideal for those who excel in safe driving and efficient transportation services. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the essence of our business operations, delivering products safely and on time across various destinations without direct cargo handling. Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck on assigned routes to ensure timely delivery. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying strictly with company policies and legal guidelines. Document and log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Report defects, accidents, or violations immediately and in the required format. Handle basic maintenance and troubleshooting of the vehicle. Proven work experience as a truck driver with no-touch freight handling. Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.). Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.). Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Must have a clean driving record. No recent moving or driving violations. DOT medical card.
