Job Description Job Description Come join our team at MealMode
as a Line Cook in a cafeteria for local private schools in Glyndon,
MD 21071! We need a talented Line Cook who loves making food for
kids. Daily food prep for approximately 200 to 500 kids. As a Line
Cook at MealMode, you'll be in charge of following a menu and
simple recipes, cooking up a variety of dishes according to
established recipes, prepping meals and sides, and keeping control
of food inventory and general cleanliness of the commercial
kitchen. Here are some of the things you'll be doing: 1. Using your
knife skills to prep ingredients 2. Baking, sauteing, and whipping
up sauces 3. Keeping portions in check to reduce waste 4. Making
salads and sheet pan pizzas 5. Following food portion guidelines
and packaging policies6. Contributing to a smooth-running kitchen
If you know your way around simple comfort foods and batch cooking,
we want to talk to you. Requirements: * Proficient in pasta
preparation techniques * Proficient in sheet pan pizza prep *
Ability to follow a menu program that changes quarterly Salary: $15
