Title: .Net Developer

Job description Programming with VB.NET and C#. 7+ years

Working knowledge of .Net core, JSON, Razor Pages, C#, CSS, JAVA Script, jQuery, Microservices, Entity Framework, Bootstrap
Database SQL server
Hands on experience in web services/REST services.
Experience in client/server multi-tier application, Microsoft technologies.
Experience in project setup, deployment, product development on different platform
Working experience on GIT, TFS
Strong ability to learn and fully understand the business process or function for which an application is designed
Technical knowledge of web-based applications
Preferred experience in reverse software engineering when migrating legacy applications to new platforms; specifically experienced in migrating large legacy VB.NET projects to C#.
Preferred experience in migrating applications from an on-premises solution to a Cloud environment. (e.g., Azure, Microsoft and Google Authentication, etc.
Candidate must be innovative, forward thinking and possess outstanding communication, documentation, and customer service skills. Prior experience in an EDU environment preferred.

Conduct technical requirements identification/collection, including interviewing users of the applications being developed, creating use-cases describing the system from the user's perspective, and identifying functional components.
Present options for solutions to satisfy technical requirements for the application being developed.
Design, develop, remediate security vulnerabilities, correct identified Section 508/Accessibility issues, and deploy approved solutions in the .NET environment using Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, SQL Server, web services.
Work in a production environment, an environment which is available to the customer and must be handled with utmost care, with system administrators, web administrators, webmasters, web designers, database administrators, security advisors, customers.
