Manage a team of application security engineers who build services, libraries and tools that will be leveraged by engineering teams. Provide technical or security leadership and expertise on product development strategy, architecture, design and code optimization. Design and develop platform level solutions to promote security related initiatives and improvements that are leveraged by a large number of teams. Identify opportunities to improve security posture through tools and automation. Drive projects from design concepts to development to production. Contribute to hands on development. Manage collaboration with other Security and Engineering teams. Supervise 5 Application Security Engineers. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $191,218 - $272,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.PAY & BENEFITS: Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
• Application Security
• Software Development
• Secure SDLC
• Team Management
• SQL and NoSQL Databases
