Job Description Description The Configuration Manager will be
responsible for establishing and maintaining the documentation
baseline for the program, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely
documentation across all contract deliverables. This role will
leverage SharePoint for document management and collaboration and
will implement control gates and business rhythms to drive program
success. Primary Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and
maintain the program’s configuration management plan, including
documentation standards and processes. - Manage all program
documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with
contract deliverables and records retention policies. - Administer
and optimize SharePoint sites for document storage, collaboration,
and version control. - Establish and enforce control gates for
documentation review, approval, and release. - Maintain the
integrity and traceability of configuration items throughout the
project lifecycle. - Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure
documentation is delivered on time and meets program requirements.
- Monitor and report on the status of documentation baselines and
change activity. - Define and maintain business rhythms for
documentation reviews, updates, and deliverable submissions. -
Ensure documented information is available and suitable at the
point of use, and that external provider documentation is properly
controlled. - Support project closeout activities by ensuring all
documentation is complete and archived per policy. Basic
Qualifications - TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required - Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or
related technical field. - 8 – 12 years of relevant experience (or
Master’s degree with 6 – 10 years). Experience can be considered in
lieu of a degree. - Strong understanding of configuration
management principles (CMII, ISO 10007, or equivalent). -
Experience with change control processes and managing engineering
documentation. - Proficiency in configuration/data management tools
(e.g., Windchill, DOORS, Jira, etc.). - Working knowledge of
government standards and requirements (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649).
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management
skills. - Proven experience in configuration management for
enterprise or supply chain environments. - Mastery of CMDBs and
change management. - Hands-on with ServiceNow, SAP, and SharePoint.
- Relentless attention to detail, killer documentation skills, and
the courage to challenge the norm. - Expertise in managing
baselines and documentation for requirements, design, and software.
- Experience tracking contract deliverables and ensuring successful
delivery to customers. Preferred Qualifications - Configuration
Management certification (e.g., CMII, CMPIC, or similar). -
Experience supporting large-scale government or defense programs. -
Experience leading Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). -
Demonstrated experience in risk management and process improvement.

above. Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00 The Leidos pay
