Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in the
Momentum Financial System and federal budgeting processes to
support financial system implementations and modernization efforts
for federal clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong
functional knowledge of Momentum financial modules, federal
financial management, and government budgeting practices, and will
lead requirements gathering, functional design, and client
engagement activities across project teams. This individual will
work closely with government stakeholders, technical teams, and
implementation partners to translate business needs into functional
system solutions. This position is located in our Washington, DC
office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future
duties and responsibilities: - Serve as a Functional SME for
Momentum Financials, providing guidance on system capabilities and
best practices. - Lead requirements elicitation sessions,
workshops, and stakeholder interviews with government clients. -
Translate business needs into functional requirements, process
flows, and design specifications. - Lead the development of
functional design documentation and use cases. - Provide subject
matter expertise on federal budgeting, funds management, and
financial processes. - Collaborate with technical teams to ensure
accurate translation of functional requirements into system
configurations and integrations. - Support solution design,
configuration decisions, and system testing. - Assist with business
process analysis and reengineering to align with system
capabilities. - Provide guidance during system implementation, user
acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment. - Support client
engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring alignment on
functional requirements and system design. Required qualifications
to be successful in this role: - Minimum 9 years of experience
supporting federal financial systems or related implementations. -
Demonstrated experience working with the Momentum Financial System.
- Strong knowledge of federal financial management and budgeting
processes. - Proven experience leading requirements gathering and
functional design activities. - Experience facilitating working
sessions and stakeholder discussions with government clients. -
Ability to develop functional documentation, requirements
artifacts, and process flows. - Strong communication and
collaboration skills with both functional and technical teams. -
Experience supporting system implementations or modernization
initiatives. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Experience supporting Momentum implementations or upgrades. -
Knowledge of federal budget execution, funds control, and financial
reporting processes. - Knowledge of the Software Development
Lifecycle (SDLC). - Familiarity with financial system integrations,
(particularly budgeting). - Experience supporting federal agencies.

reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The
determination of this range includes various factors not limited to
skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and
certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based
performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the
top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable
estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is
