Central Research Inc. is actively seeking a Contract Administrator to work remotely supporting our corporate office in Annandale, VA. Preference will be given to candidates working in the eastern time zone.The Contract Administrator is responsible for the full life cycle (cradle to grave) administration and management over Company's government contracts, subcontracts, and task orders. CRI also does a small amount of commercial contracting. Responsibilities & Duties:Responsible for ensuring compliance with Contract terms and conditions, FAR regulations and clauses, and Federal reporting requirements.Provides advice, recommendations, and document preparation support in all areas of the acquisition process - primarily focused on post-award management and administration.Receives, reviews, and disseminates contract modifications; confirms modifications are consistent with funding needs, contract terms and pricing requirements. Inputs contract data into Deltek and monitors funding, costs, and ceilings.Point of contact on prime contracts interacting with in Government contracting officials, subcontractors, and teaming partners. Reviews contract documents, including award documents, modifications, and task orders to identify and document legal and contractual requirements.Reviews and assists in responding to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and ensuring compliance with the FAR, Solicitation requirements, and Company policies and procedures.Identifies potential contractual problems or conflicts, analyzing impact/ramifications and resolving issues working with Company General Counsel as needed. Prepares and disseminates information to internal staff regarding contract status, deliverables, compliance, audits, modifications, and closeout activity.Maintains internal and external reviews to ensure that all contract-related issues are resolved in accordance with customer requirements, contractual requirements, management direction, and FAR.Maintains all required contractual records in accordance with the contract T&Cs, FAR and corporate policies.Preparation and review of pre-award documents, including teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements and subcontracts, and consulting agreements.Assists General Counsel as necessary on contractual issues, research, contract disputes, equitable adjustments, protests, etc.Maintains and updates comprehensive calendar of events for timely compliance with contractual requirements.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.5 years of experience in government contract management or administration.3 years of experience working with Federal Government Contractor(s). Preferred Qualifications:6-plus years' experience in government contract management or administration.Relevant certification such as CPCM, CFCM, or CCM.DAWIA/FAC-C certification.Experience with Deltek systems.Familiarity with DFAR. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Thorough understanding of the federal acquisition process and the ability to identify and apply FAR requirements as they relate to Company's current and future contracts and subcontracts.Knowledge and experience working with various types of government contracts, including Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), Task order-type contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), GSA Schedules, Firm-Fixed Price, and Time and Materials (T&M) contracts.Excellent working knowledge of the FAR, including FAR Part 52 clauses. Significant experience working in the field of Government Contracting.Proficiency with Deltek/Costpoint.Advanced knowledge of MS Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Experience extracting key metrics, milestones, and requirements from contract documents.Experience and familiarity with requirements and application of government contract laws, including Service Contract Act (SCA).Must possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail.As permitted by applicable law, CRI employees must provide evidence of the full COVID-19 vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
