in Western Australia for the community housing and homelessness
sectors. Our vision is that all people living in Western Australia
have a home that enables them to thrive. We're a small, close-knit
team - despite having grown significantly over the last year - who
are all passionate about making a difference to those who have
experienced, continue to experience or are at risk of homelessness.
We're now looking for an experienced and passionate Project Lead to
drive the successful delivery of key initiatives that upskills and
builds the capacity of people with lived experience of homelessness
and housing insecurity including creating pathways for employment
and long-term advocacy within the sector.About the RoleThe HOME
Project aims to build the capacity of people with lived experience
through key elements and projects, training and co-design practices
to be able to effectively engage with government, the community
services sector and the broader community. The Project Lead will
lead a small collaborative team, empowering individuals to engage
effectively with government, the community services sector, and the
broader community to ensure systemic change and enhanced service
delivery.As Project Lead, you will also oversee the co-design and
establishment of key project outcomes, including the Lived
Experience Advisory Council, Peer Education Support Program,
Speakers Bureau, and more. You will be working closely with various
stakeholders to create sustainable frameworks, advocate for the
inclusion of lived experience voices, and ensure the project's
long-term success.With a variation of scope and extension of time
recently approved by the funder, this project will conclude in
December 2025.About YouYou are a compassionate advocate and
champion of the value of lived experience knowledge and expertise,
who has previously managed projects, facilitated workshops and
supported people with lived experience to contribute to codesign
projects.You are fluent in the principles of codesign, value
diversity and inclusion, and lead with authenticity and empathy.
Your leadership is essential to build the capacity of two project
staff as well as the team of lived experience co-designers. A
skilled project lead, you will have demonstrated expertise in
project planning, managing resources and ensuring project outcomes
are achieved within the timelines.You will harness your knowledge
of the homeless sector and foster relationships as you identify and
champion the opportunities this project is aiming to deliver.This
