ROSS Companies is seeking your expertise & passion for exceptional customer service for an available Maintenance Technician opportunity.The Maintenance Technician is the team member who maintains the resident's apartment home. Working as a team, the technicians are responsible for the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler, carpentry & a variety of apartment maintenance tasks. Put your expertise and passion to use and apply your maintenance knowledge to help make each one of our ROSS Management apartment homes feel like home.The incumbent will possess maintenance experience in individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs, preparation of turnover apartments and flooring installations; Ability to assist and follow instructions in the performance of all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely responsible manner; Initiative and motivation to continue training to develop skills, preferred, (i.e. license and certifications); Good organizational and time management skills. CFC - Type 2 may be required. Must have a valid driver's license, transportation to respond to emergency calls, and proof of motor vehicle insurance.Some candidates for this position may not possess all of the above-mentioned qualifications and will be considered for employment based on background and experience. No relocation assistance provided.Job Requirements:* Help troubleshoot and repair equipment* Help troubleshoot and repair equipment* Perform repairs on field equipment repairs* Providing high quality repair service on equipment* Perform repair and maintenance tasks* Recognize equipment that need repair* Obtain repair and maintenance instructions* Perform minor or routine maintenance or repair* Replace or repair worn parts* Locate and repair defective parts* Maintain and order repair parts* Diagnose and repair all refrigeration equipment* Provide electrical service and/or repair to customer units* Perform building repair and maintenance activities* Dismantle equipment/machines and make proper repair* Discuss repair, maintenance and applications of equipment* Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs* Handle routine repair and maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems* Troubleshoot and repair all capital equipment* Disassemble fire protection equipment to repair and maintain systems, and replace or repair defective parts
