TITLE: Senior Consultant, Digital Insights & Analytics

**WHO WE ARE:**
Dx Analytics is a digital research and strategy consulting team,
born out of a unique combination of digital expertise gained at the
forefront of online research, strategy, and activation for some of
the world's largest brands. Dx Analytics was formed from Mavens of
London, a boutique digital consultancy acquired by Kantar in early
2020 to expand Kantar's digital analytics & research expertise.
Our role is to help brands understand how the digital landscape
works, and what they can learn about their customers there, from
trends in Google searches and Twitter conversations to the sales
uplifts from new forms of digital media. Mining consumer data
trails from social listening, eCommerce sites, reviews sites,
forums, and blogs, Dx Analytics leverages the large-scale raw data
of the internet, and uses it to map and understand the paths that
brands should tread, feeding into marketing strategy, product
innovation, and more.
**THE OPPORTUNITY:**
Senior consultants are responsible for the design and management of
projects across Mavens' portfolio of digital research, measurement,
and optimization solutions. They are responsible for senior client
relationships, working with globally recognized brands to
understand their business and marketing challenges, and designing
digital analytics and research-led solutions that address
these.
Senior consultants manage project teams of analysts and
consultants, ensuring a high standard of delivery, with outputs
that meet and exceed client expectations, and Mavens' operational
targets. There will also be an internal focus for the role,
covering line management of junior staff, helping to clarify and
iterate on methodologies, and supporting the senior team in
business development initiatives.
The role is part of a small, high performance team of 15, driving
the growing digital analytics business from our NYC office. (Hybrid
in-office and work-from-home on a flexible basis as of April 1st,
2022)
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:**
- Rigorous and creative analysis of quantitative and qualitative
digital data, including social listening, digital marketing
analytics, search keywords and rankings, custom scraped verbatims
(e.g. posts/reviews from Yelp, Amazon, Reddit, etc.), and more.
- Iterating and innovating on data analysis and data science
methodologies, ensuring Mavens maintains its competitive edge.
- Design and management of research and strategy projects to a high
standard and quality of execution.
- Creating briefing documents and managing project teams in the
delivery of work.
- Line management of junior staff, ensuring objectives and career
development goals are set and monitored.
- Identifying and addressing staff training needs, and facilitating
knowledge sharing across the company as a whole.
- Management of senior client relationships, up to director
level.
- Supporting directors in larger business development initiatives
and taking point on project-level business development.
**ABOUT YOU:**
You will have deep technical knowledge of digital marketing
channels, and associated tools and data sets, with demonstrable
experience working in a rigorous, data-driven environment. You will
be an established manager (roughly 3-7 years experience, as a
guideline), with experience of analytical techniques and market
research methodologies, comfortable in both managing junior staff
in delivering projects and pitching in to help where required. You
will also have a demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for data
analysis and marketing strategy.
You must have some experience directly managing client
relationships, in addition to an enthusiasm for creative problem
solving and data visualization. While not a requirement, knowledge
of advanced statistical methods and programming languages for data
analysis (Python, R) would be considered an advantage.
You will be able to craft unique insights from the synthesis and
analysis of data. Fluency in English is mandatory, with fluency in
other languages considered an advantage due to our global work.
