business development team. Its a combination of community advocacy,
local policy, and local business development with a growing company
thats on a mission to do some good in the world. About UZURV We
believe mobility independence is for everyone. UZURV is a high
growth national assisted community mobility and technology
business. Weve been very successful growing the business with
public transit agencies to improve ADA paratransit service across
the country. Our first program was here in Richmond with GRTC and
began in 2017, but weve grown and grown, now providing millions and
millions of trips a year in 18 states and working with 10 of the
largest 20 public transit agencies in the country by their ADA
paratransit ride volume. Its not by accident. Weve grown, because
of the quality of our service. UZURVs riders and drivers rate the
company extremely highly in satisfaction. We also save our clients
often 30-50% on the cost of transportation for people with
disabilities and older adults who need assistance. A little bit
about the role You will be the Director of our Local Markets
business development team. That means youll be personally
conducting our Richmond area relationship development efforts, and
you also will manage and lead three other team members who will be
working to do the same thing in three other cities. Your goal is to
secure partnerships with local human services, non-profits, and
senior organizations, helping them lower costs and deliver better
service and helping us continue to understand client needs as we
continue to develop our products and processes for assisted
community mobility. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business
Development the Director of Local Mobility Advocacy and Business
Development, Richmond VA is responsible for growth of new business
and retention of existing business. Core Responsibilities: Business
Development (70%) Lead and manage local Business Development
activities and sales pipeline for an assigned region and accounts.
Develop relationships and represent UZURV at municipal, city and
state board meetings. Be the face of UZURV within advocacy groups
and industry commissions. Identify and secure contracts with local
human service agencies, senior living facilities, non-profits, etc.
Research and develop the local human services transportation
landscape. Understand how agencies move their people and
demonstrate how UZURVs adaptive TNC model can bridge their gaps.
Facilitate the setup of new accounts on the UZURV platform,
ensuring a seamless transition from agreement to active service.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to establish relationships with
newly onboarded partners to ensure service quality meets contract
specifications and identify referral opportunities for additional
growth. Team Leadership & Strategy (30%) Lead a three person (to
start), remote team of Community Growth Managers. Provide coaching
on how to navigate the complex web of local providers in their
respective cities. Work with the Senior Director of Business
Development to refine the sales process for non-RFP contracts Using
Salesforce, track and report on regional performance, ensuring the
team meets growth targets. Provide new insights and strategies to
best serve our clients. Travel 10% - 15% Travel We are excited

the local community. Relationship Builder: You are comfortable
meeting with both executives and community leaders. Purpose Driven:
You care deeply about accessibility, senior services and helping
people get where they need to go. Experienced: 5 years in Business
Development, Community Relations, or Human Services. Previous
experience in transportation or software is helpful, but community
passion is the priority. Organized: Ability to manage multiple
relationships and priorities. Flexible: Unconventional working
hours - willing to attend evening meetings or community events when
