Job Description Area Vice President of Hospice Business
Development – East Texas & Louisiana Hospice care provides
compassionate support for patients and their families during the
end of life. Our teams deliver emotional, spiritual, medical, and
comfort?focused care during life?limiting circumstances. We are
seeking an Area Vice President of Hospice Business Development to
oversee growth and sales operations across East Texas and
Louisiana. This high?impact leadership role will direct field
strategy, manage sales execution, and drive performance across 8
locations : Houston, Beaumont, Conroe, Harlingen, Baton Rouge,
Alexandria, Shreveport, and Lafayette. The AVP will oversee a total
team of 25 , with 1 direct report (Area Sales Manager) . This
position requires extensive field engagement (3–5 days per week) .

and manage regional sales goals for East Texas & Louisiana Develop
and execute strategic business development plans Lead, mentor, and
support the Area Sales Manager and broader team Collaborate closely
with clinical, operational, and senior leadership Perform routine
field visits across 8 offices to strengthen relationships and drive
growth Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and retention
strategies Utilize CRM systems to establish, track, and manage
performance metrics Act as a culture champion and support
continuous improvement initiatives Requirements Bachelor’s degree
or RN required 5 years of hospice or home health sales leadership 8
years of healthcare sales experience Demonstrated success in
expanding a sales region or turning around underperforming markets
Strong executive presence and ability to lead through
organizational change Proficiency with CRM systems and data?driven
management Preference for candidates currently serving in VP roles
or strong AVPs prepared to advance Must reside in or be open to
relocating to TX or LA Ability to travel extensively (3–5 days/week
in the field) Compensation Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000 Bonus: Up
